It would be a nice smack for Schröder and Chirac both to get voted out... What would that tell them ? Blair,Bush, and Howard win and Schröder loses (hopefully) then the last domino to fall in France.( if not the last, a big one)

The problem with pinning one's hope in any way on France is that Chirac is actually what passes for the right wing there (though not the far right - that would be Le Pen). A socialist government would probably be even worse, although in the best-case a Chirac defeat would lead the Gaullists to toss him out and find a decent replacement, who could then throw out the socialists later.

Not only would Chirac get voted out of office; but, he would go straight to jail. There are criminal charges pending against him, but they cannot enforce them while he holds office.

I do hope that pansies Shroder&Chirac are ousted form power. The USA should however never give them the french&germans anything as to support, foreign aid and withdraw all our military. It is time for these little dweeb countries to face the piper for their anti-american ways. If we assist them militarily or financially again they will just spit in our Remove the USA sugar tit of goodness, from the french and germans mouths.
