The International Committee of the Red Cross is granted a privileged status to inspect the conditions of prisoners of war and other detainees in return for confidentiality.

In a rational universe, the International Red Cross would immediately get ungranted any special privilege or status.
They then need to join the terrorists, or all go out and get real jobs.
