We need to look inward.
We had the support of the world after 9/11.
We kept that support as we liberated Afghanistan.
Then we lost that support more completely than I would have thought possible... even in allied countries most of the people think we wrong and only 35% of Americans think the Iraq invasion was worthwhile.
It's fine to blame others but we need to look at what we may have done wrong too - we used UN rules as the reason to invade when the UN didn't support that invasion. That was a serious error.
Now Newsweek is exploiting that fact and I'm not defending that exploitation but let's not remember the support we had and how we lost it - because of a serious mistake.

You know, I've heard this "squandered sympathy" garbage over and over. It's a Democrat talking point now. The War on Terror has nothing to do with keeping other countries feeling sorry for us. It has to do with prosecuting a war.
Whenever a powerful country makes war with a less powerful country, the losers of the world will always assume the big country is at fault - no matter what the circumstances. That's what a loser, underdog attitude is about. I've got no interest in pandering to that.

Children should be seen and not heard.
Why don't you spend a couple of months here reading first, before you start to post and profess your ignorance and child-like mentality. In time, you might become a rational thinking adult. Until then STFU, errant child.
