[MR. RUSSERT: When did the president ever suggest that Saddam Hussein was responsible for September 11?
DR. DEAN: He didn't. His nuance--his people suggested that. He suggested that in a nuanced way in many of his speeches. He was asked once directly about it and said, "No, I don't have that evidence." But the truth is in every speech, including the ones during the campaign where he deliberately muddled the anti-terrorism war that we're engaged in with the war in Iraq.]
Howard Dean may as well say "It's not WHAT the President said, it's HOW he said it. ...Well, maybe it's NOT how he said it, but WE ALL KNOW what he meant. YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAARGH!"

But I thought the Dem mantra throughout the campaign was that Kerry was nuanced, George Bush was not, and that made Kerry the smarter, better person.
Now Dean says President Bush is nuanced? Did he pass that by Kerry's people before he said it?
Keep it up, Howie. You're doing a great job!
