He was talking about Iraq and the war in Iraq and I'd bet almost anything he meant to say Saddam. I was quite surprised Tim didn't correct him.
You'll appreciate this exchange though.
Tim reminded Dean that he said that Osama bin Laden should be innocent until proven guilty. Then Tim asked how, given that sentiment, Dean could possibly say that Tom DeLay should be in jail!!
Dean wouldn't back away from the DeLay statement and mumbled some nonsense.
