"Here’s what’s funny: Vermont bans billboards."

This is the irony of the whole thing.

I've driven many many miles through VT, and it is a pleasure to not see billboards.

I've also detoured across the border into NH to buy liquor at inexpensive prices in their state stores.

If ever there were two neighboring states that are apples and oranges, it's these two.

That's for sure! Vermont gets LOONIER every year, and I suspect if it wasn't for a Repub governor (Douglas) Vermont would have to be institutionalized!

Depends on where you are. There is very little difference between Vermont and western New Hampshire. The Keene/Lebanon/Hanover area of NH is as bad as Berkeley, California.
