Let me guess...he was born a Jew?
Congratulations, that has to be the most diabolically stupid statement I've ever seen on Free Republic.
When the hell are people like you going to get off your high horse and realise that the UK and the USA have the same problems...you really think you're immune to having left wing morons like these? Have you been to Detroit or Jersey City lately, where there is a substantial Arab community? Have you bothered to take a look at the behaviour of your own far left before you make such statements?
No, you haven't. Because if you took the time and trouble to do so, you wouldn't engage in this knee jerk, "Blame the whole UK for an idiot minority" type behaviour, because you'd have the sense to realise that it is a feature of Western Civilisation that we all tolerate people who are cheerleaders for that Civilisation's destruction.

They've gotten very quiet on the subject of Israel. There was no bigger supporter of Israel in the 60s & 70s than Barbra Streisand. Her CD "For the Record" features many songs from concerts (including the Israeli national anthem)she did to benefit Israel. She even has a phone recording in which she speaks to Golda Meir, praising her.
It's been years since she's spoken out in defense of that country. I don't know why.
You could add many large universities where the sympathies are in line with the AUT. Virulent antisemitic bigotry is alive and well and living at Columbia...Princeton...Brown...Berkeley...Many Americans are unaware how much their universities constitute an archipelago of hate.
Sorry to have gotten you so unglued.
Uh huh...
Please don't paint the UK with such a broad brush. The lunatic fringe is just that, and Lord knows we have them here too, though we are less tolerant of them, in general.
