The following is an anynomous note, (I wonder why it's anynomous/ sarcasm), from someone of Egyptain heritage making his case ofr Isreal.
"Then in the months that followed, I would watch the news on all the suicide bombings in Israel and I would be perplexed by the stupidity of their perpetrators. Those were kids who blew themselves up in public places, hurting innocent bystanders; some of them might even be supporters of their cause. I watched the people who planned those things and who tricked the young boys and girls into committing suicide in the name of god praise those "martyrs of the cause" and claiming that Israel is responsible for letting things get to that. Those were the same people who danced on the street on 9/11 and the same people who opposed the wall that Israel built to defend itself, claiming that it was excuse to steal more Palestinian land. The gall I would think; the utter gall of those PLO and Hamas people. They had no shame and no sense of decency it seemed. They really wanted nothing but to kill all the Israelis and yet decried Israeli responses and claimed that the Israelis were the ones not interested in peace. "Land for peace" they offered, "give us land and we will stop killing your people" was basically what they said. And yet they were astonished when their blackmail didn't work out, and when the Israeli army started killing their leaders one by one. It was all just another evidence that the Jews weren't interested in peace, they would say, completely in denial about their own hypocrisy."

One can only hope that this is prove of changing sentiments in the arab world. Notice that the author chose to remain anynomous; he/she might well be fearing retaliation. Often I wonder if this is how a huge number of people in arab countries really feel, but they are suppressed by their governments and the world ends up believing otherwise.
addenum: If you look on the Arabs For Isreal site, you can find a feature on Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury, muslim journalist imprisoned for 17 months by his Bangladesh government for respecting and supporting Isreal.
The freedom to offend people has to be one of the greatest concepts man has ever invented; thank G-d we have it.
