Did you see my comments earlier on the thread that it appears that Liz Cheney was at the same forum as Laura today. Probably at different times of the day but it was obviously the same venue if you look at the photos.

Yes I saw Liz's picture there. She seemed to be enjoying herself. I wonder if Liz's position as Undersecretary of State for the Middle East had any influence on Laura deciding to go there to speak.

I often wonder what goes on in these Arab men's minds when they see and hear from these wonderful Western women who are famous and important in their governments (definitely including Condi in that as well). I HAVE to believe they're a little threatened, but maybe they just think it's all part of decadent and immoral Western culture and doesn't pertain to them.

Maybe it's more important what the Arab women think. I hope they think 'Look at that. I want some of that for myself and my daughters.'
