My sympathies to you. My kitty just past his 17th birthday last month and is still doing well. He has his good days and bad, but still more good than bad. I fret over him though, and let him get away with things he never could have when he was younger. It is very sad to lose our furry family members (if your husband and/or children also have "fur" I apologize for the confusion).
