Out on bail - WHY? My reading comprehension skills are quickly diminishing with age, but where in the articles does it say they are out on bail?

Nice, and thousands of fake, almost exact copies of police badges have been imported into the US. Get ready for some more hijackings.

Bail? I saw other "b" words...badges, board, building...but no bail.

From WPVI --
"Two men have been arrested at Philadelphia International Airport on charges they tried to carry loaded guns onto a jetliner.
Forty-seven-year-old Tim Robinson of Philadelphia and 41-year-old Steven Lundy of Roselle, New Jersey claimed they were law enforcement officers.
But a suspicious American Airlines ticket agent notified police and security personnel. Both men have been released on bail."

Somehow Timothy Robinson and Steven Lundy don't sound Arabic to me.

That name sounds familiar:
Using an alias maybe?

Out on bail?!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!
Now, all they need are their fake passports, and over the border they go!

TSA does not "clear" police, agents, air marshals or Federal Flight Deck Officers for air travel at security checkpoint: Airport Law Enforcement Officials (LEO) check the police, special agents, marshals etc. credentials and sign them in. The screw up here lies with the local airport LEO.

Maybe it's Timothy al-Robinson, and Steven bin Lundy.

There's a very big reward for stopping terrorists. The American Airlines ticket agent should get not only our heartfelt thanks for her quick thinking but alo a very large chunk of change from Uncle Sam.
Meanwhile the TSA did their usual sterling job.
