The poll of New York State voters tested four possible Republican challengers to Clinton in her upcoming race for re-election to the U.S. Senate, and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (search) performs best coming within 10 percentage points of the incumbent (Clinton 53 percent and Giuliani 43 percent). If the top performing republican is still 10% behind Hitlery, I don't see New York switching columns next election.

The article had Rudi 10 points behind in the race for the Senate but nearly even in a Presidential election.
The point is that old Hill is in deep crap if a state like NY puts her at dead even where will she be in plkaves like Wisconsin and Nichigan that are only marginally blue.
