Hillary Fund-raiser Tapes Spur New Probes

Secretly recorded audiotapes that helped drive the prosecution of Hillary Clinton's one-time finance director David Rosen have prompted investigations into the fund-raising activities of other top Democratic figures, a newspaper familiar with the contents of those tapes reported on Friday.

Ted Kennedy brother-in-law Raymond Reggie agreed to wear a wire for the FBI in 2002 while facing bank fraud and conspiracy charges in another case. It was Reggie's tapes that captured Rosen making incriminating statements about his role in an August 2000 gala fund-raiser for Mrs. Clinton. But according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Reggie's tapes have helped instigate at least two additional FBI probes of political figures, including one involved in a "national campaign."

Reggie's "role as government informant was kept secret until recently in an effort to conceal his cooperation in at least two other unrelated investigations," the paper said Friday.

"One [involves] a state senator, and the other, a prominent political figure who may have been illegally soliciting national campaign donations from foreign nationals, according to an FBI affidavit."

Both prosecutor Peter Zeidenberg and presiding judge A. Howard Matz have agreed to keep Reggie's tapes out of Rosen's trial. That's good news for Democrats, at least for the time being.

A transcript of the tape, the Times-Picayune said, "shows that while some parts could have helped bolster the government's case [against Rosen], others contained potentially embarrassing details about the fast-and-loose practices of top Democratic fund raisers and party officials."

Last week the paper released transcript excerpts revealing that some of those "fast-and-loose" practices included the procurement of prostitutes for "Clinton loyalists" and illegal drug use.

Another worrisome aspect for Democrats was Reggie's insider status within the party, which gave him access all the way to the top.

Taking the stand at Rosen's trial for the first time on Thursday, the Kennedy in-law was asked:

"Do you have a close relationship with President Clinton?"

Reggie responded: "I did, and I do."

This could get really interesting. I would love to see a list of every prominent 'Rat that Reggie could have possibly taped. I'm wondering about Tubby Kennedy and sKerry.

Well, no kidding. /sarcasm

I believe Gary Aldrich has already told us that. Of course, the "Clinton loyalists" trashed him in the OLD MEDIA (which went along with the trashing).

As far as the Clintonistas are concerned they should be praised for using prostitutes, they used to just drag the women in and rape them.

"Prostitutes" and "Clinton Loyalist" is a redundancy.

Can you expand on this a little? Why should someone who rapes women be praised for using prostitues?

I was referring to Clintonista standards, not society's.

"...a prominent political figure who may have been illegally soliciting national campaign donations from foreign nationals, according to an FBI affidavit."

Hmmmm....wasn't there a suspicion about Kerry's sources at one point?

Which reminds me... has Kerry's little girlfriend returned from her African vacation yet?

This info was actually released back in April by the NY Sun:

Clinton Case Mystery

Note: The NY Sun requires registration, so I pulled this from another site that had the whole article, even FR didn't publish this part of the story, only an excerpt because of restrictions.

From what I have gathered, it may have something to do with Tendo Oto, a foreign national contributing to this gala and attending it.

If she could be brought down on a more serious foreign donations charge, it would explain why they are not persuing her in this particular case.

Almost ashame they are not Republican's. Imagine the news stories being denied the MSM. . .

And yes; would agree that Ted and his buddy John; have dirty hands here as well. . .

In the meantime, these 'witnesses'/defendants walk a major 'fault line'. . .

See post #15...I believe it has to do with the foreign national that contributed to this Clinton gala and attended it, which is illegal. Like I said in that post, I have known about this since April when the NY Sun published the info, before we knew who the informant actually was. There is also a Louisiana State Senator under investigation, and I believe that person may be Mary Landrieu, who is close to the Clintons.

I just want the contents of those tapes made public.

Not gonna happen. It would tarnish the image of Democrat politicians -who ninety-nine point nine nine seven percent of the MSM voted for. They will never allow that to occur, and even if it parts of it did surface, the dems would throw a purple-faced screaming tantrum (or several) until it was swept under the carpet in favour of more pressing matters -like how the Eeevull Reepublikens are Obstructing The Will Of The People by not allowing the Pure-Hearted Democrat Polititions to continue with their filibusterings that are so critical for the good of the nation. (/sarcasm)

Or weeks of glowing examinations of another Michael Moore anti-US propaganda piece. Either way it would just be ignored in the same way that the illegal immigration issue is, or slanted by misquotes and out-of-context references from it to appear totally different from its true meaning, in the same way that the MSM deliberately refuses to print 'illegal immigrant' in lieu of 'migrant worker' or portrays an anti-immigrant stance from an anti-ILLEGAL immigrant stance. In their eyes, if you are for securing our borders to halt the flood of illegal immigrants you are obviously an anti-immigrant extremist.

Hillary Clinton has one chance to reach the White House in 08.

If America is attacked by North Korea or subject
to massive terrorist attacks, Hillary may have her chance
to slide into power on her Centrist Agenda.

It will be
as planned.

Never Trust
the
Conspiring Clintons
