you thought the floodgates for illegal immigrants were wide open in Los Angeles up until now, hold on to your sombrero. Now that Antonio Villaraigosa has been elected mayor you ain't seen nothin' yet. The guy who was Chairman of the UCLA chapter of MEChA, the anti-American and anti-Israel Mexican separatist group; the guy with the "born to raise hell" tattoo; the guy who was past district president of the ACLU; the guy who rewards illegal aliens with Matricula Consular IDs; the guy who wants to give illegal aliens driver's licenses; the guy who supports Special Order 40, the regulation that will not allow local police to turn over illegal alien criminals to the Feds, will now be in charge of the second largest city in the nation. Well done, voters of Los Angeles!
Mexican President Vicente Fox really has a compadre in the City of Angels now. Villaraigosa has virtually the same take on Mexican illegal immigration that Fox has. Fox, who has repeatedly refused to back away from his racist remark saying that Mexican immigrants take jobs "not even" blacks want in the United States, has never had a problem with illegal immigration from Mexico to the United States matter of fact, he has encouraged it.

Minutemen Patriots ~ Bump!
Fox was pandering to LA black voters when he apologized. It was all about the mayoral election, and he probably lit up a big cigar.
Closer to 50,000,000+
Actually, I think Tony Villar is more Spanish....
that is why he changed his name.
Uh, Ohio is just down the road from Colorado, where my sister lives...She says Colorado has an enormous Latino/Mexican illegal population with all that entails. They have babies as fast as possible, then bring in the rest of the clan. I live in MA, and I see lots of roofers, lawn workers, factory workers from south of the border/Brazil being a favorite. (You can get forged US papers for very little.) Imagine what the US will be like in ten years. By then it will be too late because the politicians are selling us down the river and our culture/mores/work ethic/and English language will be defunct.
Fewer and fewer of them speak English - no surprise.
From all accounts, Texas and Arizona are just about lost. And then there's NY, where the current mayor released his reelection tapes in Spanish first, not English. Once they get the big cities, they have political power not only in that state, but in DC. And they don't plan to go back home. This is now home. Mini Mexico.
Buy a fan or something you have to screw the legs on, and see which language the directions are printed in. English comes way down the list after Spanish, French, German, and Chinese.
Yeah, keep laughing....
I live in Green Bay, WI...which once upon a time used to be a blue-collar, conservative city.
Unfortunately, there is now a huge illegal Hispanic population here. Green Bay is resembling Milwaukee more and more each day.
Julie's Cafe owner pleads guilty to hiring illegal immigrants
"Uh, Ohio is just down the road from Colorado..."
Actually, Ohio is closer to MA than CO. But the point is valid. The Mexicans won't stay in California. They will fan out and multiply.
As I've said, I see it as a clear and present danger.
I also see that I have no recourse.
I slammed GWB and the Republicans hard in this thread, but no reply. The Bush bots are suddenly, annoyingly quiet.
We have to cut off federal funding for la cuidad de los angeles.

"Yeah, keep laughing...."
More of a cry than a laugh. We've been betrayed. But, we have no options. All we can do is watch it happen.
"I have nothing that I can do."
Arm yourself, the battle will rage.
