The ACLU said school officials' violation of the prayer ban "must result in their removal from society."

I'm not religious, but that statement just plain frightens me.

George Orwell wrote that in Big Brother's nation, those who went against the Party would be erased from history. Hence the term "Orwellian." The ACLU wants the government to decide who can or cannot work as a public servant on account of their religious beliefs.
