Meh... I'd say he has no right to an attorny.
Its like the Geneva conventions... you are implicitly granted those rights, but can deny them to yourselves by your actions and/or behavior.
If the Iraqi people want to afford him those rights, in searh of a type of 'closeure', thats their choice. But my option would have been do whatever we/they want with him. Hang him immediately, kill him otherwise, give him life imprisonment, only to bring him out on the 'anniversary' of Iraqi independance in an cage so that people can hit him wish shoes and 'fart in his general direction', or whatever the hell they want.
Makes no difference to me...
