Yeah, but they DO look a lot like Val Kilmer.

Jim Morrison (God, but he was gorgeous)

Val as Jim (not bad, not bad at all)

He was damn hot -- but if this guy in Oregon is really Jim, then he hasn't exactly aged well.

Billy Idol was originally cast as Jim for the movie but the bike accident put him of commission.

He wound up as a bit player that we never saw from the waist down due to the massive cast he was still wearing.

Billy would've done Jim cinematic justice....:)

As an odd side note, every time I think of the bible description of the angel Lucifer, [he was the most beautiful of all created beings] I picture Morrison.

The man was so etherally beautiful that it *hurts*....;))

I met Morrison a couple of times when I was living in Venice before he got famous and believe me, he didn't look anything like the publicity photos. Of course he was pretty wasted but think stringy, greasy hair and none of the definition that's usually in his pictures. While he was skinny his face was a lot more bloated than in his photos.

Of course I'm probably not a good guage since I'm a guy but heck, I've seen pictures that made Charlie Manson look good (another fella I ran into in Venice a couple of times and that dude was UGLY).

Strange days for sure.
