I was NOT talking about being "terrorized".....just about the fact that nurses cannot be everywhere at all times, especially in the middle of the night (or on weekends) when the staff is smaller....Sheesh. And, maybe I should qualify what I said with....stay with those who are unable to take care of themselves, i.e. the elderly, children, or very ill.....

This is your original post..........

NEVER NEVER NEVER leave a family member alone in a hospital at night......NEVER, EVER....no matter if they are 8 or 80.

If you were not talking about "being terrorized", then what ??? You were concered about the cable TV going out, the phone going out?

Yes, several of those family members were not capable of defending themselves, should Jason arrive.

Jason never showed up!

My point was, and is, you made a rather (Dan ?) ignorant statement.

No, the nurses cannot be every where at once, they are not expected to be a baby sitter.

News Flash: neither can your local police.

Do you not drive if you can't see a police car, what ?

Do you ever talk a walk in your neighborhood? With or without police presence?

Are you really that intimidated by a ....system....???

Yes, I really think you might consider "qualifying" any future 'blanket' statements, like the one you posted here tonight.

I know I tweaked you a bit, but the original statement was way over the top.....IMO.
