A peace rally ended in violence Wednesday afternoon at a Los Angeles high school.
A fight occurred at Thomas Jefferson High School during a community-sponsored effort to create a human chain as a show of unity. Police broke up the confrontation involving students.
Authorities said four students were taken into custody. One student was arrested on charges of resisting arrest.
Police said the fight stemmed from a dispute involving a stolen cell phone.
The protest was in response to a rash of violence at the school.
"It is a demonstration for peace," said resident Zeetta Williams. "It's about us, as parents, coming out here to show that leadership starts with us."
School officials said they are doing everything they can to ease racial tensions at the school.
Peace rally ends with violence....the delicious sweet irony.
ps, does anyone have a suggestion for a new tagline?
HAHAHAHAHAHA, What a great news day!!
it just keeps getting better and better!
You expressed my thoughts.
Reality has a beautiful way of stating the blatantly obvious. While sentimentalist dipsh@ts sigh and swoon over peace rallies such as this, the true nature of the SCUM they are and represent can't help itself and gushes out like a stopped-up toilet. Wake up(!!) decent America - and fight back like an outraged saber tiger.
You'll enjoy this one!

SIGN: My momma's doing the job your momma's to lazy to do

You can forgive this young student on forgetting he actually already is in Mexico.

Three HS race riots on the first day of Tony Villar's election victory
How about, "Visualize world peace or I'll kick your ass!"
..You can't fight in here...this is a war room....
Can you feel the love?
how about.... "fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity".

The ACLU needs to be contacted, and this student expelled. There is no excuse for such behaviour.

She would be the leader of ACORN but the have her identified as "a resident".
ACORN leader Zeetta Williams presented a list of demands to elected officials regarding Wells Fargo, including more action on behalf of the Attorney Generals office whose representative was in attendance.

You just can't make this stuff up. Why am I not surprised??
"Visualize world peace or I'll kick your ass!"

That's going to be my new bumper sticker.
