It's really nice along there.
Politically that area has a tendency for protest; the Conservatives are fairly strong but so are the NDP with the high First Nations and labour clout - and that means the Fiberals have just enough support to win those areas with under 40% of the vote. (They'll likely lose those seats)
What would be the eastern boundary? The Alberta-Saskatchewan border, the Saskatchewan-Manitoba border, the Manitoba-Ontario border, Lake Superior area or the Ontario-Quebec border with a ring around the GTA?
As far east as possible without including the Socialist areas. :-)
