Admiteddly there is an extraoridnary overlap in those who are both antisemitic and anti-Israel. However just as it is possible to be against American policies without disliking Americans, it is clearly possible to be against Israeli policies without inherent dislike or hatred of Jews.

This article seems to indicate that Germans confuse these things. My experience says they do not.

This article seems to indicate that Germans confuse these things. My experience says they do not.

The point is that Germans who are consumed with the supposed injustice visited upon anti-Semitic Muslims by Israel don't seem to march, protest or fulminate with equal outrage and visibility when anti-Semitic Muslims terrorize Christians in East Timor.

The political outrage seems very selective - it flares up when the Jews are allegedly to blame and is strangely dormant when no Jews are involved.
