An Iraqi Kurd bought a convenience store not far from me about 3 years ago and we have talked quite a bit. We've discussed every step thru the war and aftermath and even have gotten into religion. He's quite proud of the fact that Kurds aren't really true moose-limbs, but have kept a lot of their original Zorastran Religion.

He enjoys his booze and when the local imam tries to correct him, he more or less tells him to p*ss off. LOL
