If it were found today, it would be 500 years before they would agree.
Hmm, who went to war with Israel in '67? Egypt. Jordan, Syria? What about the other 200 or so counries in the world? We could have gone to war against Israel, but did't. Same with the Soviet Union, or even Iceland for that matter. This guy is a lunatic.
Huh. I think the Hebrews should sue the Egyptians for reparations.
If you read the links, the legal action was first brought in the court of Alexander the Great, citing Exodus as their legal authority. The Jewish community of the time followed your advice, claiming funds due for their time in slavery. The Egyptians never pursued the claim, as they won't today. Their problem is their reliance on Exodus.
My crock detector went off almost right away. The script for "Raiders of the Lost Ark" was a collaboration involving George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and Lawrence Kasdan. Indiana Jones got his first name from Lucas' dog, a joke they revealed at the end of "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade." The whole story came about from the 1930 serials that Lucas is all about, the lone adventurer battling the evil Nazis, etc, etc. Not once did I ever hear about Indiana Jones being based on a real person. This guy is a loon.
Well, that was fun.

The Noahide Laws are what we are told to look at once we express too much interest in the Talmud...
Exclusive: Real Indiana Jones Locates Lost Ark
Dr. Vendyl Jones, the inspiration for the Indiana Jones series, told Israel National Radio that he is sure he will uncover the hidden Ark of the Covenant before the Fast of Tisha BAv this summer.
So I guess he didn't find it. I couldn't read past the first sentence.
"The dog? You are named after THE DOG?"
"I've got a lot of fond memories of that dog."
Thanks for the details.

These folks have made a beautiful replica of the Ark as well

"During the 1977 dig, Vendyl told the story of his quests to a free-lance American journalist, Randy Fillmore, who was working as a volunteer at the caves. The story became a screenplay entitled 'The Search of the Ashes of the Red Heifer.' The script changed hands and form several times before being lost in the 'Hollywood shuffle'."

Raiders of the Lost Ark
Directed by Steven Spielberg
Written by George Lucas, Philip Kaufman, Lawrence Kasdan
"George Lucas originally became involved in the project in 1977... Lucas had conceived of the idea in discussion with Philip Kaufman who had worked on a treatment. While on holiday with his close friend Steven Spielberg the pair worked out the basis for the film. At the time Spielberg's career was suffering due to the expensive bomb 1941 so it was agreed that Lucas would produce and Spielberg direct. A new screenplay was commissioned from Lawrence Kasdan."
