I have read the Empire article. What I do know is that no police report was filed. Scott's mother won't comment much on her dealings with police (which I know she is having), because she is concerned she will compromise her chances of extending her guardianship.

The couple does have an 11-month-old son. They married in 2001, shortly after the 9/11 attacks. However, Liza Thomas has been here since around 1986.

Liza Thomas is allowed unsupervised visitation with her husband, but according to his mother, he makes it known thru their method of communication that he does not want to see her.

My producers and I are looking into doing a story with Jim King. I've gotten a lot of requests for that!

Thanks for the info.

IMO Ms. Patton must have some concerns about her guardianship continuing since she is willing to have the story in the media. Media exposure helps her by raising public awareness and I know there were many people here that supported the Schindlers in their efforts to get guardianship and care for Terri.

I had the thought earlier that it might not be a bad idea to include in an advanced directive that you want a police investigation if you should become incapacitated under suspicious circumstances.

I think Jim King has some misconceptions about his constituents. I'd really love to know how many phone calls/emails/letters his office received asking him to vote for a bill to save Terri. Too many politicians think that once they're elected they can vote how they desire on specific issues and not according to the will of the people.

There is a protest against King tomorrow. I have no idea how many will come. When you rely on word of mouth then the turnout may not be large but you never know. Now there may be rain to contend with as well.

He's said he won't vote for anything that will change "his legacy". Now that we see that's truly his feelings he ought to do his district a favor and resign so we can elect someone who has the concern of District 8 and Florida as foremost priority and not their own agenda at the expense of someone's life!
