Oh yeah, he's out of here. A reduced ability to enjoy life should be just the ticket. Depressed spouses are next...
In the late 90's a woman charged her son with kidnapping her husband and taking him to Wisonsin to avoid being put down by Dr. Kavorkian. She said that the husband was crazy for saying he did not want to die and she demanded that the FBI bring him back to California so she could snuff him.
"When all of us decided we were going to vote no, it wasn't to be disruptive. It wasn't even to be collegial, said Sen. Jim King, R-Jacksonville, the author of the state's death with dignity law. We did so because in our heart of hearts we thought it was the right thing to do for Terri and it was certainly the right thing for people who are like Terri."

I called Sen King's office to ask who includes in the group "people who are like Terri". After a moment the lady on the phone said surely people who are brain dead. I said that was disputed in Terri's case, brain dead people can't smile. Then I realized she was getting me off track so I said I want to hear from Sen King who he includes in this group. It's been 2 wks now and I haven't received a letter from him with an explanation.
