Everything that I have read affirms the conclusions above. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem urged the Palestinians to flee and form an army to fight against the Israelis. After their defeat, the Grand Mufti then excoriated the other Arab states ensuring they would not accept the displaced Palestinians. The refugee problem is one entirely of Arab making.
