They don't mind liars at the NYT, as long as they are their liars. The NYT has never returned Walter Duranty's Pulitzer Prize even though no one believes his pro-Stalinists stories in the 1930s about the Ukraine famine today. That's how much the NYT cares about the truth. Shame on them and Newsweak. They hate our way of life and will inflame America's enemies to harm US servicemen and Americans in general. They've no honor and no decency and no respect for the truth.
