Um... contributing to the delinquency of a minor is a crime. It covers child molestation, giving spirits to minors, drugs to minors, and pornography and sexual materials to minors.

Two points.
1. This is being done in a public school funded by state money, so most local cops will not want to intervene.
2. In the eyes of a state like Mass, this book is not a crime but a teaching tool.
I agree that this is contributing, but in Mass. there is no way that charge would stick.
Also, distributing obscene material to minors, which is a felony. These people need some serious jail time.
