We should drop some bombs on Islam Karimov and pound him and his government to rubble.

I must say that this case is really bad advertisement for US, media repeating over and over how Karimov is allied with Washington and then they showing all his “achievements”.

State Department unless they can come up with a better solution better realize that Uzbek leader Karimov is the best that region is gonna produce.

If Karimov falls expect a Taliban friendly regime to emerge. Those "peaceful" protestors were Islamists hiding behind women and children trying to free their fellow terrorists.

The only language they undertand are bullets and bombs, and they wanted massive civilian causalties in hopes of the stupid State Department putting pressure on Karimov to ease up on the terrorists.

Karimov is bad but what would come after him is worse!

If we are gonna continue to be in that region of the world we are gonna need those airbases in Uzbekistan.

Karimov’s repression policy is a perfect reason why radical Islam may grow in this country. Sooner or later such bomb will explode.

The muslims tried an uprising and where put down. I congratulate the government for their iron response against Islam.

When did they start calling rioting and armed insurrection "demonstrations" and jail-breakers "demonstrators"?

Why are willing human shields referred to as "innocent civilians"?

Translation of the Reuters account of what happened: "They were peacefully demonstrating by attacking a prison, killing police, and torching government buildings, and the brutal forces of secular repression murderously refused to surrender before their enlightened expressions of righteous Islamic outrage."

What country is "this country"?

And your logic is wrong just like any leftist logic that blames the punishment for the crime.

The Islamists existed before Karimov's repression of them. Their behavior cannot be excused, you think if we were nice to them and understand they would coexist with the us?

This is not my intention to argue with you because reading your post I learned that no one is able to change your attitude. But if you disagree with my views you don’t must to call me a leftists because of that…

What exactly are your views?

Are they that if the US supports a regime that oppresses Muslims it creates terrorism against US, so the US should stop support Karimov and allow the Muslims to take over and kick us out of Uzbekistan?

If that is your view then I have to inform you that is not where Muslim terrorism originates from.

How to normalize situation in Uzbekistan.

Unfortunately this is your attitude:

Uzbek nation = Muslim terrorists

I disagree with such generalization. I would want Uzbek government to fight only real terrorists not ordinary citizens.

Annihilate the Muslim terrorists first!

I disagree with such generalization. I would want Uzbek government to fight only real terrorists not ordinary citizens.

The terrorist used the women and children as shields, and if you dont fire through them the terrorists take that as a sign of weakness. Not to mention many of the women and children support what the terrorists are doing.

I have nothing against.

We would show our weakness if we would start behave like them. Nothing justify shooting to the unarmed crowds.

Even though both sides of this conflict are equally reprehensible, Washington cannot keep it's mouth shut and stay out of it.
