My childhood consisted of diverting hobby materials (Estes rocket engines and fuses, Testor's paint jars) to making noise.

Funny, my childhood consisted of blowing up my Star Wars and GI Joe action figures with firecrackers or finding out how many bottle rockets could send an action figure into space..

I suppose in this day and age, I would be arrested..

Every summer, we'd make bazookas from (steel) pop cans, with tennis balls for projectiles.

(We placed the end on the ground, firing vertically, not horizontally.)
