Pat, shut up! Don't you ever have anything positive to say? I am not a big Buchanan supporter. in 2000 I voted for him in the NY Primaries as a protest vote against what I thought was a centrist Bush. In recent years he has made statements I dont agree with. BUT....He is pretty close to being right on the mark on this one and after 9/11, we should have gone to a WARTIME mode and LOCKED our borders.....Pats right on many things and Bush is cowtowing to too many imagined supporters in the Hispanic community in leaving our borders leaking illegals and the whole party and conservative movement will eventually pay big time for this unless he shores it up NOW!

I have always thought Pat makes a lot of sense on many issues. I voted for him for President in 2000. It was between him and Bush. At that point in time, I wanted a president who would concentrate more on taking care of this country and its problems.
Pat has made some very good points in this article. I am especially concerned about our borders. However, I am very proud of President Bush and I voted for him in 2004.
