This is BBC Frontpage News for the Second Day. I've Looked Two Days in A Row and Haven't Seen It on CNN. Maybe I've Missed it but THIS IS Historic News in the Middle East. Where's the Coverage in Our MSM?

To your question as to why this isn't a frontpage story, in the true US MSM tradition, the NYT is waiting for pictures and reports of a Pentagon investigation.

Seriously, it's likely due to an aversion of the NYT to authorize stories that might show that the Administration's policies are working.

I think you know the answer to that. This good news must be suppressed since it might be linked to Bush and his Middle East policy. Despicable, but true.

because it really isn't that big of a story. A much bigger story is that Saudi Arabia DOESN'T allow women to vote. Women suffrage is nearly universal where voting is allowed. Even Iran allows women to vote.

So Kuwait has finally entered the last century. Ho hum. They still lag far behind most of the world as far as womens rights go.
