Bill Peeved by Joe Klein's Hillary Article

There was a chill in the air last week when ex-president Bill Clinton joined Time magazine's chief editor, Norman Pearlstine, onstage at Manhattan's Time Warner Center to discuss the events of the day.
"There were no pleasantries, no welcoming comments," noted the New York Times. "And at certain points, Mr. Clinton looked peeved."
The reason?
As Clinton waited in the wings with Pearlstine to come on stage, he confronted the media honcho over a recent Time column by Joe Klein, the Times said.
Just days before, Klein had trashed the idea of a presidential bid by Hillary Clinton as a potential "disaster on many levels."
One reason, said Pearlstine's scribe, was Mr. Clinton himself, whom Klein described as a "one-man supermarket tabloid."
Rumors of more Monica-like shenanigans were sure to punctuate any Hillary run, he suggested.
Worse still, said Klein, "Absent any evidence, the former president should be considered guilty until proved really guilty."
No wonder Pearlstine got the cold shoulder from Clinton.

Worse still, said Klein, "Absent any evidence, the former president should be considered guilty until proved really guilty." This is without question the best description of BJ ever!

In his magazine, GEORGE, John Kennedy, Jr. wrote about Hillary being bad news. He died soon after.

A cold shoulder from x42 deserves a major huzzah! from Freepers (even though Klein has been a major putz before).

I remember that--he was reported to be thinking of running for the NY junior senator seat, too. And he would have won, too...

And I bet he knows all the details, too. That old horndog is going to bleep himself to death, just watch.

I had always assumed that BJ and Klein were friends, so it's possible that Klein has seen the shenanigans first-hand at BJ's house in Chappaqua.

Are you suggesting he was killed because of his remarks .. I don't think so.
I believe he was killed because he planned to run for the Senate from NEW YORK and Hillary knew she was doomed if he did.

Seriously, this is the most accurate statement of the impeached one I've ever heard.

There's a mouse that does just that. When it's mating season, he runs himself ragged going from one female to another until he expires.

not to be esoteric , but its something I've noticed ,...Foster death happened in June, Monica came to the WH in June ,summer 1996 Monica was yapping to Tripp , Aug '97 was Kathleen Willey , May into June '98 was everyday!! , there is an abundance through every year's scandal ,... sorry if its incomplete , like Casey said.....

Me thinks he knows much more than what he has told us publically.

John John had NO plans whatsoever, of running for the Junior Senate seat from N.Y.; NONE! That was just a stupid rumor, that went about, AFTER he had died, when Hitlery! ran. Neither was he murdered...like ALL Kennedy men, he did something inexcusably stupid, flew a plan when he was not only injured, but whilst having a terrible fight with his wife, in weather that he had no business flying in. Really, it's as simple as that.
