Ronald J. Biller, a captain with the Bristol(indiana) Police Department, was arrested Saturday and charged with three counts of child molesting. He was released on a $50,000 bond the same day.
Elkhart County Prosecuting Attorney Curtis T. Hill Jr. filed the charges Friday in Elkhart Superior Court No. 3.
Biller is accused of fondling a 12-year-old child in Elkhart County on various dates between March and August 2004.
The allegations were reported to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department last month and recently turned over to Hill's office for review.
Each count is a Class C felony punishable by up to eight years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
I would not want to be this guy in jail...a cop and molester....two of the worst things he could be to the other inmates....wow...
Oh, they're going to love this guy in general population (in prison).
Why are freepers here ready to hang this guy.
Haven't we seen physciatrists "tell kids" what they feel and what this and that "meant". There is more than one lawyer in the picture too!
Many a parent has been falsely pinned by this technique as well as one parent in a divorce playing this issue against the other.
And he was released because?????????????
We've read of kids filing charges because they don't "like" someone. Sometimes they recant. Wait before hanging this guy.
This is why I don't trust anyone except myself and God.
Sickening.
Jeff
Nothing good about this story. At least its not Florida.
Yeah like he was just friskin the kid for weapons, three times a week.
Ok, so when's the hangin'?
Two weeks or more between the Sheriffs Office being told and the Sheriff informing the Prosecutor? Hmmmm... Then cheap and quick bail.
The press report makes no mention of rhe sex of the child. Any bets as to the 'sexual orientation' of the alleged perp/perv?
Wasn't one of the bogus child molestation charges that Janet Reno was responsible for brought against a cop?
Oh, well, "r" is pretty close to "t" -- right next door on this keyboard...
