One wonders how this mothers life (and consequently the sons life)would have turned out had she gave it to The Lord. I dont mean to sound preachy, truth is I am backsliden but still believe.
Oh My Sweet Jesus. This is truly disturbing and downright sick. How on earth can this woman do such a thing to this baby. And then go finish laundry. For who? Who will wear that childs clothes now. Little good clean clothes will do anyone now.
Prosecutors said Harris left the boy and his 5-year-old brother home alone Saturday afternoon while she left to do laundry. She discovered the boy outside when she returned about 45 minutes later, beat him with a belt and sent him to his room, prosecutors said.
When he would not stop crying, she wrapped a sheet from the top bunk of a bunk bed around his neck and hanged him, according to prosecutors' statement in court.
Chicago Police Officer Patrice Harper said Harris confessed to killing the boy in a statement to police.
"She became angry at the child for being outside and ended up killing him," Harper said.
If they abort their fetus, drown their babies, etc., etc., it should be a perfunctory procedure. 1 strike and you're getting sterilized.
I read yesterday about a woman that had 6 abortions in 12 months. (The world record). If that's not reason to tie the tubes I don't know what is. Actually, that record holder needs to be sewn shut!

This is a good time to tell you Ive always appreciated your posts, and the love you show. FR is better because of you.
As insane and horrible as this is, it is probably best not to give her the death penalty. Remember, she has a second child, and he could still visit her in the big house. He would know what she has done, but to deprive him of his mother via death is a cruelty. Even is he is ported off to foster care, he would always know his mother is somewhere.
When he gets older and comes to terms with this, he will probably have many questions and much anguish, for which she should have to answer.
If there were no other children involved, I would say fry her. I am a big believer in the death penelty, but in this case not for the sake of the other child.

The other article says "Jaquari". Maybe she was trying for "Jaguar"? One of my kids was in preschool with a boy named "Lexus" (in an upper-middle income Oklahoma suburb, too!).
Some parents kill their children before birth, some after.
