That is sooooo cute..but couldn't you "hang", Reid, Hillary, and Ted Kennedy out instead of clothes?

this Sunday on McLauglin, Mort Zuckerman said that Specter would soon retire becuase of health resasons, and Casey would be appointed to the seat. This has staggering implications, IMHO. Your thoughts?

Rendell would probably appoint Barbara Hafer who he eased out of the primary so Casey could avoid a primary fight. If Specter retires we could be looking at 2 Senate races in PA. Casey v. Santorum and Hafer or Hoeffel v. Toomey(?)

Of course there was also the rumor at Arlen's son would be appointed in case of retirement. I'm not sure as to which party that trial lawyer son is affiliated with, so he's either a Dem or a RINO

Don't be skeptical. This is it. Frist has an op-ed in USA Today today.

Frist has been whining and threatening since the spring of 2003, and he still hasn't done anything. Check some of the old articles around that time. That was when the term 'nuclear option' first originated.

FRIST WILL FOLD!!

Frist would rather guarantee that W's best five candidates for Supreme Court will not make it through the Senate than have Fat Teddy mad at him.

Frist will mouth some gobbledygook about bipartisanship blah, blah, blah and then declare victory and then give the scumbags the complete ability to veto any of W's selections! FIRST WILL FOLD!!!

Did you all read on Drudge's link to Novak's column that Reid is investigating all the appellant judge's financial records? How low can he go?

It's very rare when TWO Senate seats in the same state are contested the same year..be curious to know when it last happened...we would get a new SJC chair...

Frist should tell the rino's that he will use the nuclear option just to confirm the judges to give them an up or down vote, then when the judges are all given that up or down vote they can all then vote to restore the fillabuster.

Frist can say these are good judges and once they are given the up or down vote the fillabuster can be restored in cases of extreme nominees.

Frist can put the hands in the rino's to decide if to vote for the nuclear option when the next supreme court nominee comes up.

Use the nuclear option vote as the new cloture vote. Frist should say to the rino's that if they vote with harry reid not only will the judges not get an up or down vote the power goes away from the rino's to harry reid.

Or have the rino's decide for the next supreme court if the nominee is too extreme to keep the cloture vote instead of going to the nuclear option.

Tell the rino's that want to keep the tradition of the senate that the nuclear option doesn't have to be permanent it can be used just each time the dems block well qualified judges and the fillabuster can be kept in place for extremist nominees. Have the rino's in the senate who are willing to vote for cloture on these nominees decide this instead of harry reid.
