Islam, itself, does not do anything because Islam, itself, does not exist. Deluded human individuals doing criminal and stupid things exist. Getting rid of every human stupidity is a task beyond our powers. Getting most of said people to prefer a quiet life with their own conscience directing their own errors but without killing themselves fighting us, is perfectly feasible. It was perfectly feasible in 1960 and it is perfectly feasible now. The US survived 200 years on the same globe as millions of deluded people not a few of them evil to boot, and will survive 200 more years of the same. Every time you casually add a hundred million people to our enemy list, on the other hand, you add ten years and ten thousand US boys with missing body parts. If you don't absolutely have to, doing so is irresponsible. If we do absolutely have to, we do it. And these people are deliberately adding to our active enemy list, and that has real costs on the ground, and we should not consider it political gravy that leftists are losing credibility and crow about it. Policy first. On policy this is at present a disaster.

That's just silly.

And I equate Islam with Nazism. Both hate Jews. Both want to exterminate them. Both want to take over the world. But not even Nazism debased and mutilated their women so. And Nazism didn't reject modern society so utterly.

Islam must be eradicated from the planet. If not now, then later.

I prefer now, while we have the upper hand.
