EWOKS! That's what they were called. I called them Wik Wiks out of spite, of course, since I was too lazy to look up the real term for them.

Jar Jar was evil, and even I can see the horrific racial stereotype that good, liberal Mr. Lucas was perpetuating. Of course, I do believe at the time that Rolling Stone had made Jar Jar their cover boy, saying he was the coolest new screen presence since Chewbacca, or something.

Jar Jar is annoying beyond compare, he almost ruined the first film completely.

Lucas probably figured he needed a character to get the new generation of kids hooked on the series.

Rolling Stone has no finger on the pulse of society these days. They reflect the past, present and future of music as much as Viacom's MTV does.

So much leftist political bunk, movie hype, fashion layouts, etc. Exactly why does this magazine have a reputation for being about music?

If you don't know the word was Ewok, it's hard to swallow your credentials on the subject.

That IS completely your opinion that Sebastian Shaw looked like a pedophile piano teacher. Tons of other people saw why he was chosen for the role(and how he appeared as a Force ghost.)

When I say "disappointing" I guess I mean it is supposed to be jarring. Let's be honest, as scary as the Vader mask is, it is majestic. It became iconic for a reason. ANYTHING(whether you believe it or not) is going to be a "disappointment." There is NO visage that can match the power of that mask(hence, the mask being the overarching marketing symbol used for the movies, both old and new.)
