Well, several member of the 1-24 have told me they respect these females and if you don't know what they are about and what they are doing all day every day--read up--then tell me who I should listen to. These females, including my daughter, are medics serving the int 1-25th Stryker Brigade Support Battalion.

"never had to" being the most important part of your statement. If women had to meet those standard then they would, though there would be fewer women in the military.

Ever notice the heavy lifting in Iraq, the house-to-house, kick in door stuff is done by Marines? The Marines were the first large combat force into Afghanistan also. At the time, I seem to recall Rumsfeld saying the Army wasn't combat ready.
