Reid doesn't have to be artful in his smears, the MSM gives him a pass on everything.

HARRY REID
When I hear his name, I think of two things:
The Don Corleone of Nevada.
He loves to say he is from Searchlight, Nevada.
While growing up in Arizona, Searchlight, Nevada had the reputation of the town with bordellos. Harry seems to have the same scruples.

Quiet, please!
If the Dems are forced to replace back-benchers Reid, Pelosi, Boxer, Dean ---they may actually find someone with 1/2 a political brain.

Reid is a problem of Republican making. In 1998 he stole the election by less than one-tenth of a percentage point form then Rep. Ensign. The republicans rolled over and didn't file any challenges, let Reid steal the election and here we are.

The essence of our whole criminal justice system is that you have a right to face your accuser; you have a right to cross-examine witnesses. Senator Reid has taking that right away.
Another Democrat erosion of a fundamental part of our judicial system.

Uh... this happened last Thursday yet somehow, and it beats the heck out of me
(/s), that the MSM has not labeled this for what it is
"McCarthyism".
This is from Dictionary.com:
- The practice of publicizing accusations of political disloyalty or subversion with insufficient regard to evidence.
- The use of unfair investigatory or accusatory methods in order to suppress opposition.
So if what this jackass did isn't McCarthyism I don't know what is. And you can bet your bottom dollar if anyone with an "R" after their name pulled the same stunt there'd be an uproar in Congress demanding an apology and the resignation of said republican and this story would be page one in every liberal rag in the USA.

There is no difference between Reid and Daschle, except Tom's sense of theater:
SEN. DASCHLE:
That's disappointing. That is very disappointing, Tim. John [Thune]'s attacks on me, where I come from, would earn a trip to the woodshed. He knows that's wrong. His effort to demonize me won't work in South Dakota. It's not only an attack on me--I take this personally. It's not only an attack on me, it's an attack on where I'm from. I got my values from my mother and dad to tell the truth, to play by the golden rule, to play by the golden rule, to do unto others as you would do unto yourself. Love of country, flag, work and dream but work harder than you dream--that's South Dakota. To do it the right way, to do the right thing, those values are as important to me as my arm. And I think that John ought to reflect on that before he makes a charge like that again.

Dashoff couldn't even get the golden rule right.

This from the Oregonian ? Its gotta hurt.
Reid should resign.

If you didn't knew he was playing as an actor, you might think he liked being obstructed.

My understanding is that the FBI files on judicial nominees are only open for review by the members of the Judiciary Committee and the nominees' home state senators. So the question is, did Reid lie about what was in the files without even seeing them, or did he somehow illegally access them?

This from the Oregonian ? Its gotta hurt. No kidding. Oregon is chock full o' libs (esp. Portland and Eugene areas) and for The Oregonian to publish something this critical of a leading Dem is bad news indeed for them.

He should resign from the senate or they should kick him out.
