Doing a little research on Gerry and came across the article. As I recall, the relationship started when the boy was fifteen and Studds had also made advances toward other young boys.

Boy this post is old, but still relevant. It's hard to believe Studdzie got reelected after this(ese) incident(s). He did have to stand in the Well of the House and listen to his censure and feel shame for 4 minutes. (Oh the humanity!) There was no Bill OReilly back then advocating Life in Prison and Castration for pedophiles. I'd say all in all, Gerry Studds is a very lucky man.
