Have cats ever done anything like this?

My thougths exactly. There are no Police cats, bomb&drug sniffing cats, or cats to assist the blind. I wonder why that is.

I read an article some time ago about a cat attacking a burglar in the owners kitchen. As well as I can remember the cat leaped onto the burglar's head and shoulders and laid waste with its claws.

You do not want to be clawed by a cat even if an accident!

They can't be bomb cats or rescue cats or anything else besides users of air because they don't have enough brain cells to rub together to do anything like that. Mrs. Othniel has two cats (which we had to do some SERIOUS bartering about before we took them from some friends). One is bulemic, gorging down food and then throwing it up, and she apparently suffers from the same kind of memory loss that Drew Barrymore's character had in "50 First Dates." She'll be everyone's pal in the evening, but in the morning, she cowers and slinks like you want to skin her.

Sorry to all those cat lovers in Freeperland, but cats are about as smart as a bag of rocks.

While I'm a cat lover and I do feel like my two girls, Jasmine & Jezebel love and take care of me in many ways tho old saying is true.
