This streak (142 'cuts made' in a row) is one of the greatest streaks in sports, perhaps the greatest, imo. Presently, Ernie Els has the longest 'cuts made' streak --- 20!
Good luck, Ernie.

Yeah no kidding. Besides I'm sure Tiger likes being out of the limelight sometimes to tend to his marriage. Waiting for a tiger cub. He needs to get going my mother insists *lol*

Rumor is that the very lovely 'Mrs. Tiger' is tired of just cooking for herself on the weekends. ;-)
But seriously, this seven year streak was an incredible accomplishment!
And, I'm expecting a 'Tiger cub' before he misses another cut.

And who can forget that 6-foot putt in the 2000 PGA Championship to force a playoff, I believe it was this putt that I was watching in an airport bar. The place was pretty busy and those watching the tube gave a collective "WOW" when he made it. Made everybody else who hadn't been paying attention watch for the replay.
I love to watch pro-golf. I love to be amazed. And I find satisfaction when I also see them make a bad drive or putt. Massages my ego just a little bit....LOL

Golf is not a sport. It's a pastime, a hobby, a stroll through the grass...Yeah right...... and Hillary is not a socialist. Get a grip.
It's apparent that you are clueless on this matter. Try walking 24 miles and playing brilliant golf.
Meds please.

Uh-huh. A stroll through "the grass". Except if you have a slice. Then it resembles....

You must be a better golfer than me, I usually stroll through the woods.

I despise Jack Nicklaus for a reason that I won't get into but I had the satisfaction of being about 20 feet behind him at the Seniors TPC in Dearborn a bunch of years ago when his drive was off to the right of the fairway in tall thick grass stuff about 3 feet high. Took him 3 shots just to get his ball back on the fairway. Revenge was very sweet to me that day........

Golf is not a sport. Try telling that to the high school golf kids who have to carry their bags up and down hills, in 90 degree heat, for over 7000 yards. You may wind up with a club wrapped around your neck.

Try walking 24 miles and playing brilliant golf.Huh? Who walks 24 miles? You mean over a four day period with your every whim catered to? Oh my! What exertion! You get a grip. Golf is a pastime, a hobby, a stroll through the woods or the grass. It's like billiards or bowling.

As a sport golf is far more exacting and tedious than any of the team exhibitons performed by witless thugs for adoring fans with their hats on backwards.I kind of agree. But comparing it to say, tennis or fencing, where you have to move quickly, keep your balance, counter an opponents moves and thoughts just doesn't hold water.
