300 African boys vanish in London
Friday, May 13, 2005 Posted: 1129 GMT (1929 HKT)
LONDON, England -- Hundreds of young African boys have disappeared from schools in London, according to police investigating the murder of a child whose torso was found in the River Thames.
To try to identify the body, Metropolitan Police officers asked every education authority in London how many black boys aged between 4 and 7 had gone missing.
In one three-month period between July and September 2001, some 300 children had disappeared.
There was nothing to suggest that they had been murdered, but a lack of immigration records made it impossible to trace them.
Police investigating the murder suspect the boy was the victim of a ritual killing after being brought to Britain from Nigeria.
The headless and limbless body, named Adam by police, was found in the river near Tower Bridge in September 2001.

God have mercy on us on Judgment Day.
Wow. Just...wow.
Child welfare experts fear that many African children are brought into the country for the purposes of benefit fraud, passed between adults and, in the worst cases, physically and sexually abused.
Look what the welfare state hath wrought.
There is nothing saying they were probably sacrificed.
In fact, these are just kids who are not at school, not kids truly reported missing. And these are poor immigrants, so it is very probable many either moved or were pulled from school without the authorities being notified.
That is the best case scenario - worse case scenario they ended up as human sacrifice.
All cultures are equally good. All cultures are equally good. All cultures are equally good. . .< /s>
reminds me of an episode of Law and Order SVU
Exactly. There is nothing in the article to suggest PROBABLY anything. Some of these kids:
1. PROBABLY returned to their native countries with their families.
2. PROBABLY moved in the UK and the authorities at the new school thought they were new immigrants and did not seek past school records in the UK.
3. PROBABLY got sick and did not check in with the school.
4. PROBABLY died accidentally and their family did not bother to report this to the school.
5. PROBABLY were removed from their families by social services.
6. PROBABLY were made up by school authorities to get more funding, thinking this was yet another government funding survey.
7. PROBABLY were killed by child abuse rather than a ritual murder.
wow.
"just damn" doesn't do the job
The headless and limbless body, named Adam by police, was found in the river near Tower Bridge in September 2001.

They found his body opposite my house in Wapping. The kid had been force fed all kinds of stones and herbs used in Nigerian voodoo rituals. The police involved in this case have been so dedicated as it has affected them so much.
I think the majority of these cases are not the same but there was another case of Victoria Climbie who was killed in an excoricism by her aunt.
There was nothing to suggest that they had been murdered...
The depth of the problem was highlighted when police investigated the murder of a young African boy - nicknamed Adam - whose torso was found in the Thames. They asked schools in London to check if any boys aged four to seven had gone missing over the relevant two-month period in 2001. Officers were shocked to be told that 300 had vanished. Of these, 299 had come from Africa.
Theresa May, the Conservatives' family spokesperson, said: "This shocking news reinforces what experts in the child protection field have been telling government for many years.
"Children who are not in the care of the parents are disappearing without trace, possibly victims of trafficking, abuse or even murder. The government has failed to listen to pleas for tighter controls."
Chris Beddoe, the director of End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes, said the revelation underlined the lack of joined-up operational procedure for police, immigration, social services and schools.
She said: "In the worst case scenario, some of these children could be dead, or being physically or sexually abused, but the truth is we simply don't know because we don't have enough information, and that's outrageous," she said.
This still does not support you claim that 300 boys in the UK were "probably" sacrificed.
Again: "In the worst case scenario, some of these children could be dead, or being physically or sexually abused, but the truth is we simply don't know because we don't have enough information, and that's outrageous," she said.
Again: "In the worst case scenario, some of these children could be dead, or being physically or sexually abused, but the truth is we simply don't know because we don't have enough information, and that's outrageous," she said.

We know that there are some sickos out there and some people literally just coming out of the forests. whatever has happened to these kids I pray that God is with them.
Not some sickos - human based sacrifice is sadly practiced in some tribal cultures. In South Africa the large number of reports of rapes of baby girls by sometimes many men is shocking till you realize that having intercourse with young children is a primitive witchdoctor prescribed cure for venereal diseases.
