PARIS -- Two European politicians on Thursday adamantly denied accusations from a U.S. Senate committee that Saddam Hussein's regime allocated them millions of barrels of Iraqi oil in exchange for their support.
The denials came a day after the committee investigating corruption in the United Nations oil-for-food program released new evidence purporting to show that the two politicians, British lawmaker George Galloway and former French Interior Minister Charles Pasqua, received vouchers for Iraqi oil in exchange for supporting Hussein's regime.

Now, Coleman is tackling that notorious British lefty George Galloway and former French Minister Charles Pasqua for being rewarded for their loyalty to the murdering Saddam with massive amounts of Iraqi oil. I'll bet the charges are true. Guilty! Guilty! Guilty! They seemed the type to not only enjoy sticking it to America but also to get paid by an evil tyrant for doing so.
The Oil for Food dealings were very nasty pieces of work. Sick Iraqis were supposedly getting medicine in exchange for Iraqi oil. From what I understand, amid the massive amounts of dirt Coleman has excavated on the UN, these sick Iraqis were being treated with cut-rate medicine that may have made them more sick instead of curing what ailed them.
All hail Norm Coleman for his good work!
How many European leaders were up to their necks in this filthy business--far far worse business than Enron? What do you think?
I personally believe that some of the money for the United Nations oil for food program was used in support of the terriorists that did 9/11 in New York City.
Please use original titles.
Thanks.
Obviously so. LOL, I won't hold my breath for the oil-for-food expose film at my local art-house, where they have Enron the movie featured with a cardboard cutout of President Bush in the lobby.
Do we have to stay peaceable with the filthy traitors on the left?
Good point. This is extremely likely.
The left loves murderous thug tyrants and hates freedom-loving Americans.
This reminds me of a comment in response to leftists in the 80s who were attacking Reagan and loving up Castro. "While Reagan was shooting pictures, Castro was shooting dissidents."
Ooooh, it's tempting to go after the left with heavy weaponry. Since the right is supposed to be law-abiding, I guess we'll have to content ourselves with keeping the left away from any real power.
