It's not that i distrust him, just that we've heard similar things before...
No we have heard second or third hand rumors no official statements. People seem to believe that the GOP victories of late brought in a dictatorship others are just reflexively anti-GOP and criticize it no matter what the truth is.
Frist seems to actually have the balls to do it.
Freepers like to rip the guy, but he just takes a long time because he is a nice guy, not a cutthroat man. But, even he has his limits.
At least that is my read on him.
