I second that. Frist and Co. have "had it" for 4 1/2 years and counting . . . .

You likely won't even believe it then.

Frist made this statement on the floor of the Senate today. This is the first time he's put a certain time-table on the nuclear option. He must feel he has just enough votes to pull this off and doesn't want the Dems to peel anymore away.

Pretty words, but like you said.

I'll believe it when I see it.

The slack in those Republican trousers leaves me filled with profound skepticism.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Note, though, it has taken a near conservative revolt to get this wuss to move.

Me too. We've heard this for some time. "Republicans ready to invoke nuclear option."

Sorta like the rumor that they are making a movie of Atlas Shrugged.

I am as impatient and frustrated as anybody. Probably more so. I figure this highway bill will dispense pork and withhold allocations appropriate to each given Senator's spine factor.

The Dimwits must be shaking in their boots. </sarc>

If Frist really has grown a pair, and really has the RINO's in line, then he'd might as well go after the rule that allows Sen. Box-o-rox to place a "hold" on the John Bolton nomination. Let's clear the table of all the bullshit at the same time.

Oh ye of little faith.

Come to think about it, as my new (adopted) moniker is "Doubting Thomas,"--when it comes to these gutless wonders and wusses, (seeing is believing?)-- I guess we are on the same wave length, after all. LOL

Enough Tucking Falk, lets do it, Mr. Frist.
