Exposed to foreign rule while under Nazi occupation? Off to Siberia. Protesting the famine? Off to Siberia. Didn't clap long enough during a standing ovation for Joe? Off to Siberia.
True enough. If you owned a business (or more than one), farms), land, estate, etc in the USSR, God have mercy on you. If you refused to work on the Collective or tried to hold onto your lands and property, you would have been in deep trouble.
Private property is one of the underpinnings of any truly free society. Genocide against a Class of people is not.
