but the employees at most of them don't want to unionize. You people talk about this article like it's truth - and like Wal-mart is paying people peanuts..IT'S RETAIL. Sorry but Target, just about anywhere in the mall is going to pay BARELY over min wage, if over it at all. I worked for min wage when I was a teenager but I guess THESE days working for min wage is beneath so many people. Some of the attitudes I see here disgust me.

Who in their right mind would actually want to unionize? Peanuts is the norm, but there's all the other stuff that goes along with it. Can you imagine having to continue working "off the clock", or get fired? I've heard way too many allegations of sex discrimination, for too many years to give that aspect a lot of credence(I'm female, btw).

Minimum wage, with the possibility of advancement, and decent benefits is the American way. I know a few people who try and support families on minimum wage, because they couldn't find a job that paid more(after their decent job went byebye). That brings in the good ol' government to help out. It's not just minimum wage, it's the fact that rental prices are just insane. Then there's basics, like fixing your clunker and keeping it running good enough to pass smog, etc. No cell phones, cable, or goodies.
