Enterprise??

Best Star Trek Ever!

I will be looking for the next reincarnation, but this series was not the PC, socialist society of The Next Generation. It was a kick ass, go after the bad guy even if you had to bend your moral code to do it series. Last Season was a perfect season....this season is a close runner up.

Enterprise got cancelled just as it was getting good. The show that deserved cancellation after episode 1 was Voyager. What a steaming pile of sh*t that was!

Enterprise had some good moments, but Star Trek needs to rest in peace. Berman and Braga beat all the creativity and fun out of it and all that was left was formula and doing re-treads of old episodes. Remember how the children of Israel had to wander in the wilderness until the last of the slave generation died off? Star Trek should not be reincarnated until the last person who worked on it (particularly the Voyager hacks) are rotting in their grave. Maybe with a totally new creative team it could capture a semblance of its former spark.

I think I enjoyed Deep Space Nine most out of all the different Star Trek incarnations. The characters were interesting, shady types. Garrick (if that's how you spell it) was the most interesting character Star Trek ever invented, although he wasn't endearing as Spock.

I liked the serial nature of DS9. The formula for the others was always to resolve the plot conflicts in the hour. DS9 kept several plot lines strung along like a soap opera and not everything resolved nice and neatly with the good guys always winning every time thanks to some gee-whiz piece of technology.
